Responsibilities

  • We are seeking BC/BE Nephrologist with Transplant Fellowship training or extensive background in transplant medicine to join a group of 6 Nephrologists at our multispecialty medical center in downtown Seattle.
  • In addition to general nephrology, we have an active kidney and pancreas transplant program performing 100-120 kidney and 5-10 kidney-pancreas transplants per year. We work closely with three transplant surgeons and round at one hospital at our main campus where we oversee the full spectrum of general nephrology and transplant medicine.
  • We currently have a 1 in 6 week hospital call schedule and benefit from the services of an inpatient physician assistant and residents from our hospital internal medicine program.
  • We have an active outpatient clinic practice where we see patients both at our main campus downtown and our regional medical centers.
  • We also employ nurse practitioners, who help with rounding in the outpatient dialysis units.
  • We typically see patients in clinic on 30 minute follow-up and 60 minute new patient intervals and receive consultation requests both locally and regionally within the Pacific Northwest.
  • Our team is a clinically focused collegial group of nephrologists, who enjoy collaborating and supporting each other.

Qualifications
  • BE/BC in nephrology
  • Fellowship or advanced training in nephrology preferred
  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice

Pay Range

$146.80 - $180.31/hour
