Transportation Driver Job at Families Together of Orange County
Job Purpose: Assists patients by transporting them to and from their appointments at Families Together Community Health Center.
Job Duties:
- Assists patients with getting into and out of Ubers and in-house shuttles.
- Coordinates with transportation coordinator to transport patients to/from appointments in a timely manner.
- Calls patients to confirm transportation pick up.
- Drives company vehicle to transport patients.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards, procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- Updates transportation coordinator with gas usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs.
- Completion of vehicle maintenance inspection prior to daily vehicle usage for safe and comfortable patient transport.
- Performs Start of Day and End of Day procedures, as assigned.
- Performs other tasks for which training has been provided, as assigned.
- Capable of understanding directions and the ability to read and use maps accurately.
- All other duties as assigned
Educational/Credential Requirements:
Completion of a high school diploma. Valid Driver’s License. Willing to submit a current 10-year DMV printout. CPR or BLS certification.
Skills/Qualifications:
Good driving record, Customer Service, Bedside Manner, Willing to submit to drug testing, Professional verbal and written communication

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
