Job Summary
The Treasury Manager manages Treasury department with responsibilities for cash and treasury operations, short-term borrowing, and loans, as well as payments. Monitors compliance with Treasury department goals. Assesses the products, services, technologies, and systems that are available and appropriate for Treasury departments. Oversees all aspects of the company's financial risk exposures.

What you will do in this role
  • Assist in ensuring that NorthStar complies with US federal and state income/franchise
  • Oversees cash functions, including cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, short-term borrowing, wire payments, fraud prevention, bank account setup and maintenance, and bank relationship management.
  • Supports treasury and cash management operations and helps develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs.
  • Manages Treasury team by recruiting, selecting, onboarding staff. Provides mentoring and coaching on an ongoing basis, completes annual performance evaluations.
  • Assists in managing and maintaining company’s banking infrastructure, including bank and lending relationships.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in daily cash management activities.
  • Recommends and implements improvements to current cash management processes.
  • Prepares and manages annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Supports financing negotiations and capital strategy formulation.
  • Understands GL and manages appropriate procedures and processes around month-end and quarter-close activity.
  • Provides financial analysis to executive management.
  • Conducts research into variances and determines explanations
What qualifications you will need
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a concentration of Finance, Accounting or Economics. MBA and/or CFA or CPA preferred.
  • 5 years of Treasury experience with demonstrated success in similar roles.
  • 1-3 years of leadership/managerial experience.
  • Familiarity with treasury services and technology experience
