CDC has a full-time opportunity for a Treatment Coordinator at our Maplewood clinic. This position serves a critical role in the clinic as they help patients understand the cost of recommended treatment, and makes appropriate financial arrangements with patients.

No prior dental experience required - just a great attitude and an ability and willingness to learn a new industry!

Treatment Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

• Review schedule daily for patients financial obligations
• Verify all patients’ insurance – state and commercial
• Collect payments and/or copays from patients
• Receive overflow calls from scheduling coordinators
• Receive and return calls from patients pertaining to financial quotes for treatment plans
• Schedule patient appointments as needed
• Answer patients questions regarding billing and payment options
• Process application for sliding fee scale and care grants
• Post payments on patient accounts
• Send out pre-estimates to patients

Hours:

• Monday through Thursday 7:00am – 2:30pm
• Friday 7:00am – 12:30pm

Treatment Coordinator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably within an office setting
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Karen or Hmong required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and skilled at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced within MS Office or other computer software
