Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver tanks to various job sites throughout the continental United States.
- Operate a truck tractor using a floor mounted clutch and shifter.
- Ensure loads are properly secured throughout the delivery process.
- Accurately utilize electronic logging device.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections.
- Follow all local driving laws and company safety guidelines.
- Complete both company and DOT required paperwork timely and accurately.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, supervisors and co-workers.
- Ability to operate forklift and/or small cranes in yard when not driving (training provided).
- Perform others tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Minimum of 3 years, over the road experience or certification from an accredited driving school.
- Class A CDL and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a CDL physical.
- Experience with oversized and overweight loads preferred.
- Driving long distances (up to 600 miles per day).
- Working outdoors throughout the year.
- Must be physically able to assist in loading and securing cargo.
- Lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds
