NEW ENGLAND WIRE PRODUCTS Leominster, MA
Job description: CDL A Required.
The Truck Driver position is responsible for the safe, timely and accurate shipping of products ordered and placed in specified areas of the warehouse. As a driver you must follow proper procedures for shipping all products exiting the facility including verifying actual product against work orders and shipping receipts and confirming product quality. Position is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness of receiving/shipping area including loading dock, trash areas and other areas of warehouse that forklifts may be found. Products will be driven to and from our Factories in Leominster MA, and Kingfield ME. CDL A Required.
Schedule:
- 8-10 hours shift, overtime after 40 hours a week.
- Monday – Friday
- Some weekends
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load all shipments into the proper trucks for shipment
- Transportation of goods and products to other locations
- Manage outgoing shipments and materials
- Maintain professional conduct at all times
- Organize and transport materials from packaging department and transport materials where they are needed
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of related work experience
- Fork-truck experience, will certify on-site
- CDL A Required
- Familiar with warehouse shipping procedures
- Product knowledge a plus!
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate
- Ability to work 5-6 days per week as needed
- Flexible to work various hours and overtime as needed
