Ultrasound Technologist top 5 duties
1. Produce high quality sonograms on a consistent basis following department protocols and the procedure manual as monitored by supervisory checks and Radiologist/physician comments.
2. Produce preliminary worksheets that are filled out neatly and completely in a timely manner on a consistent basis following department protocols and the procedure manual as monitored by the supervisory checks and Radiologist/physician comments.
3. Provide general care to all patients so that their basic medical care and comfort needs are satisfied as monitored by supervisory check and patient feedback.
4. Communicates with patients and staff with courteous and responsive manner as monitored by supervisory checks and patient feedback.
5. Consistently completes routine monthly maintenance and performs a daily inspection of equipment and appropriately documents results on required logs as monitored by supervisory checks.
Certification Required
REQUIRED: ARDMS Certification Required with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
Experienced in Abdominal/Renal/Testicular/Pelvic/Prostate ultrasound
Willing to train for Prostate ultrasound
