Universal Banker

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Provide quality & exceptional service to customers.

2. Communicate personally with customers to ensure satisfaction.

3. Have a working knowledge and understanding of other bank services, i.e. Treasury Management

4. Participate in bank’s referral and sales programs, sales campaigns, and sales training

5. Resolve customer complaints promptly & efficiently

6. Ensure operational excellence and integrity of the branch

7. Perform all duties of a Teller & Customer Service Representative

8. Assist clients with loan-related questions and processes. Prepare loan clients for what to expect during the loan application process and uncover opportunities for further exploration.

9. Prepare necessary documents to open new secured & unsecured loan accounts.

10. Explain product benefits, changes, restrictions, requirements, and any other relevant product information to customers.

11. Cross-sell and make referrals to bank partners to generate new business and deepen existing customer relationships

12. Other duties as instructed.

Minimum requirements:

1. At least two years of Teller experience with an excellent balancing record & an excellent attendance record.

2. At least one year of strong CSR experience, displaying knowledge of all FM Bank’s products & services.

3. Satisfactory evaluation on previous evaluation(s)

4. Organizational skills

5. Positive/friendly attitude

6. Must have a professional appearance & manner

7. The ability and willingness to attend training classes (offered at FM Bank & outside sources)

8. The ability to work under time constraints, use good judgement, and act in a tactful, professional manner.

Training Includes:

1. BAI Online Training

2. One-on-one training from Loan Administration to learn the lending application

3. One-on-one training from a Lender with face-to-face customer experiences

4. Ongoing training as determined

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour
