Job Description and Qualifications
We are seeking a Fleet Vehicle Diesel Mechanic for our Orlando, FL facility. Are you energetic, highly motivated, and well organized, a self-starter with a strong commitment to safety? The Orlando terminal supports and transports liquid Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Argon throughout the Southeastern region of the U.S. via our liquid bulk fleet. This vehicle mechanic will work with the Orlando Lead Mechanic and is responsible for the maintenance of company owned tractors and tanker trailers.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on tractors and tanker trailers. Document/record work performed electronically on computer-based maintenance system. Perform road repairs when necessary. Perform electrical/electronic repairs on tractors and trailers. Gas and electrical welding experience a plus.Qualifications:
High School diploma/equivalent 1-3 years vehicle maintenance experience. Mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills. Diesel Engine Repair experience is a plus. CDL holder is a plus. Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits. Welding knowledge and experience a plus. Energetic, highly motivated, well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety. Strong teammate with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel. Technical School Graduates: Students with a background in Diesel Engine, Industrial Systems, Machine Tool Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, HVAC, Process Technology, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation Technology are encouraged to apply.
