Vending Service Technician - Grand Island, NE Job at Vvs Inc
Summary: Maintain and Repair machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Install, remove, maintain, diagnose and repair machines. Plan and implement the safe transportation and installation / removal of machines. Install / remove machines making necessary water and electrical connections in compliance with code. Clean, oil, and test machines to ensure proper function. Adjust and repair machines when needed. Diagnose and repair defective mechanical and electrical components by use of mechanical/electrical aptitude, repair manuals, wiring diagrams, etc. Implement effective repairs using hand tools, power tools, meters and gauges. Maintain records of machine maintenance by machine including repairs completed and supplies used. Order replacement components to maintain appropriate inventory of repair items.
- Valid Vehicle Operators License with excellent MVR
- On call rotation for night and weekend service calls.
- Quick courteous response to all service calls from customers and VVS staff in assigned area.
- Attention to keeping company vehicle clean and serviced on a regular basis.
- Full compliance with Work and Safety Rules.
- Occasional forklift use - Regularly required to lift / move up to 75 pounds, occasionally lift/move more than 100 pounds.
- Associates Degree in Electronic Systems Technology/Technician or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience preferred, not required.
