Skybound Entertainment, the home to critically acclaimed global franchises including The Walking Dead and Invincible, is looking for a Video Editor to join the social media team. The right candidate will edit content for posting on social media platforms, provide engaging content for our target audiences across multiple IPs and collaborate across Editorial, Gaming, and Film/TV departments to incorporate graphic design, copywriting, and various commercial video assets.

The editor will also be tasked with following an outline, script, or shot list and assembling raw footage into one cohesive video that matches the appropriate format for various social media platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The editor must be comfortable participating in collaborative meetings to develop social video strategies and concepts.

Reports: This position will report to the Social Media Producer

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Follow production deadlines and adhere to a schedule
• Comfortably navigate task boards and calendars such as Monday and Asana
• Study and enhance new editing techniques and styles
• Execute all required post-production tasks including video & audio editing and some color correction
• Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for search and user experience for all content channels

• 
  Extensive experience with digital technology and editing software, especially the Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency with the incorporation of motions graphics, both in pre-made template form and occasionally building from scratch
• Timely knowledge of social design features and trends
• Must have a natural love of gaming, comics, movies, and pop culture in general

• Are already familiar with and/or a fan of Skybound and any relevant IPs
• Have a background in Gaming or Editorial
• Have demonstrated growth on personal social media channels or have driven similar growth in past roles

Job Type: Regular, Full-Time

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000

• Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc
• The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees
• Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
