WHAT WE NEED —

cellhelmet is currently looking for a full-time Pittsburgh-based Videographer/Photographer/Editor to join our rapidly growing marketing department. We are looking for someone to produce and edit content for all of our internal and external media platforms. You will be responsible for all technical product photography, product spotlights, training videos, promotional videos, branding and product videos for sales, tradeshows and direct to consumer objectives. You should be a driven creative professional with excellent time-management and communication skills, and be able to pitch, produce and execute productions from the storyboarding phase to delivery of the final product.

WHAT YOU'LL DO —

  • Serve as the primary videographer, photographer, and editor for all video and photography content
  • Capture, edit, produce and manage quality photography and video content that support Marketing (D2C website, social, promotional), Sales (techincal product photography), and Customer Success efforts
  • In-Studio & On-Location work. These shoots will illustrate our products' versatility and practical or common uses
  • Plan, execute and handle production of all product and lifestyle shoots. Support for this task will be provided by Creative Director and Merchandise team
  • Edit photography and videos for use on our website, social media, and our selling platforms

Maintaining and updating content for our social video channels

This position reports to the Creative Director. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, can communicate through challenging situations, and is persistent, confident, and motivated.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED —

  • Expert-level experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, PhotoShop, Lightroom, Bridge, CaptureOne (or similar software)
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills. You have a proven track record shooting and editing video and photo content that is creative, original and compelling.
  • A results-orientated mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving environment and understand that meeting expectations in a creative manner is the end goal. You can push for the best work product in the allotted timeline and can ensure that all use-goals are met.
  • Proven experience in all aspects of photo editing and video production. You are possess extensive working knowledge of: current photography and video production software and best practices, audio recording/editing software, color grading, titles, motion graphics, etc.
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience with all pertinent industry hardware. This includes cameras for photography and video, lighting equipment, green screens, audio equipment, and related accessories
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting ideas/concepts to executive-level decision makers
  • Impeccable time management skills. Our business is a fast moving business. We commonly have multiple projects going on at the same time. Understanding how to prioritize projects to meet deadlines and expectations is paramount.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
