National Heritage Academies is looking to hire experienced Math teachers to be part of a unique virtual teaching program to help our students to become their best within the state of North Carolina. We inspire our students to excel academically and think creatively to reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers help students apply critical-thinking skills to solve real-world problems. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate collaboratively and professionally with fellow teachers and support staff to meet the goals and individual needs of each student.

• Teach students virtually during regular school hours

• Teach grades 6-12

• Provide high-quality live instruction

• Engage with students in dynamic virtual classroom environment

• Create, manage, and participate in a variety of professional development and orientation activities.

• Additional duties as assigned.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must hold an active and valid teacher license in Math within the state of North Carolina.

• Prefer teachers with over 5 years teaching experience.
