RMC is hiring for a Windows and VMware System Administrator. The selected applicant will install, configure, and support an organization's VMware environment to include administering and supporting:
- vSphere / vCenter
- vSan
- L2/L3 Network Devices including VLAN experience
- Infrastructure including virtual and hardware and software environments
- SSO – Platform Service Controller
- PKI / PKE
- Software installation and setup
- The virtualization of systems (VMWare ESXi)
- Harden systems to be in compliance with DoD RMF policies
- Monitoring including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity and availability
- Security monitoring and maintaining security patches and updates
A Bachelor’s Degree and three to ten (3-10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems and network administration work is required. Six (6) years of additional related work experience or an Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.
An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
