Location: Saudi Arabia (We pay for relocation)

OVERVIEW: ACCEL International is seeking a Vocational & Adult Programs Lead at our Saudi Arabia campus. ACCEL International will provide the necessary assistance to prepare this candidate with all administrative requirements for working, relocation, and settlement in Saudi Arabia.

SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination and delivery of instruction of individual students or small groups in vocational, prevocational, or ADL activities designed to promote employment or independent living skills needed to achieve employment or independent living post-transition to adulthood in collaboration with classroom teachers, vocational staff, and Center administration.

BASIC ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Plan and prepare materials for individual and group activities.

2. Implements the vocational, pre-vocational and ADL instructional programs for students.

3. Implements appropriate behavior intervention techniques under the direction of the Center administration and behavioral support staff.

4. Organize testing and completion of documents needed for the vocational evaluation reports.

5. Perform vocational testing including Street Survival Skills Inventory, Transition to Work Inventory, and the TEACCH Transition Assessment Profile (TTAP). (If available)

6. Complete interviews including one each for student, student’s caregivers and one for the teacher.

7. Complete observations of the student during a 20-minute vocational/pre-vocational/ADL situation and one 20-minute observation during a classroom morning or an individual tasking activity.

8. Collaborate with the Center administration concerning student progress of off campus vocational activities and opportunities.

9. Instructs and assists students in personal care and hygiene for employment and independent living purposes.

10. Maintains a clean, safe and stimulating vocational/pre-vocational/ADL environment for students.

11. Attend mandatory departmental or related meetings.

12. Select inventory or equipment for areas of responsibility and ensure purchase of those materials and supplies.

13. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward positive staff morale.

14. Maintains regular attendance.

15. Complies with ACCEL’s policies and procedures.

16. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATE:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Three (3) years of classroom teaching or educational experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bilingual in English and Arabic languages (preferred but not required)
