Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
This Senior Learning Leader for Personal Insurance (PI) plays a key leadership role in creating and overseeing the learning strategy and execution and delivery of training to the organization to ensure that PI has the right skills at the right time to achieve business outcomes while leveraging a modernized learning strategy. In this role, you will lead a team of learning professionals and partner with business leaders and Enterprise Learning to leverage a comprehensive ecosystem of tools and technologies to identify and address developmental gaps and skilling opportunities across the organization. You will lead, design, execute, and measure all aspects of technical training and learning development while creating a culture of continuous learning that focuses on the overall skill development of employees, vendors, and partners across all modalities of delivery.

What Will You Do?
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the overall strategy and operations of the PI learning and development organization to support Personal Insurance business.
  • Drive, influence and ensure standards and best practices relative to instructional design/development and facilitation, both for in person and virtual delivery.
  • Provide leadership, direction and ensure development for the PI Learning and Development team.
  • Ensure operational delivery of new hire and staff training for PI Operations, Field Sales, and additional areas of PI, including onboarding and employee orientation strategies and initiatives across PI.
  • Be a leader in the governance, infrastructure and marketing for the learning programs offered.
  • Partner with PI and Enterprise leaders to create and deliver a scalable training roadmap and advance tools technology and learning solutions to ensure a modernized learning environment. Partner with and leverage other learning leaders and external exploration to innovative and expanded capabilities.
  • Lead and partner with internal training teams and business partners to conduct needs analysis, identify appropriate learning methodologies and develop and deliver strategy approach.
  • Leverage enterprise metrics and assessment tools designed to identify training and development needs and measure the impact of development efforts.
  • Serve as a thought partner with business leaders and the PI HR VP providing consultation on role-based curriculum, integration with talent and succession strategies as well as support for transformational change efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
  • Advanced degree in learning and development, organizational development, human resources management and/or business preferred.
  • General knowledge of Property Casualty insurance products preferred.
  • Comprehensive adult learning theories and practice (e.g., Performance Consulting, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, Facilitation, Coaching, etc.).
  • Strategic planning, organization, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience developing goals, leading, and influencing teams to meet business objectives
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team with a focus on innovative strategies and methodologies.
  • Ability to influence, manage and lead others.
  • Results orientated.
What is a Must Have?
  • Minimum of ten years of work experience in supported business operation, or other learning and development and training related experience.
