VP, Technical Services Job at Goodnight Midstream
Job Summary: The VP, Technical Services will lead and manage all Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Drilling & Completions, Geology, Land, Automation, and Instrumentation and Electrical activities. This exempt-level position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities
- Assure an integrated approach to capital projects by facilitating communication between the Technical Service organization, Operations, HSE, Commercial, and Finance.
- Lead efforts to develop seamless processes to manage capital projects from inception to commissioning, including management of scope, schedule, and budgets.
- Support Operation's maintenance, facility improvement, and optimization efforts through Technical Service's resources
- Lead a coordinated approach to develop and achieve annual and ad hoc goals and objectives for each functional team.
- Establish reporting processes and guidelines for individual projects including financial reconciliation, schedule, and scope management.
- Adhere to and promote company's safety policies.
- Achieve 100% compliance with Goodnight's Contractor Management Program.
- Ensure all safety, environmental and Company policies/procedures are communicated and enforced
- Manage and ensure work crews follow all customer, safety and environmental requirements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors, at all times.
- Facilitate the development and ongoing update of company I&E standards.
- Other tasks and projects may be assigned, as needed.
