An innovative company is looking for a positive, reliable problem solver for their Warehouse Associate role in Portsmouth, NH! You’ll enjoy working in a customer-oriented, supportive environment as you help optimize the day-to-day operations of this busy warehouse. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate
- Receive POs in ERP system, verify order information, and distribute items to appropriate departments
- Accurately update inventory system and stock information by performing routine cycle counts
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and solve problems like delayed items and rush orders for coworkers, customers, and suppliers
- Analyze warehouse layout and makes recommendations for improvements
- Pack orders and create shipping labels
- Keep organized shipping records, including statements of origin, shipping costs, products shipped, and receipt dates
- Analyze shipping costs to improve standard shipping processes
- Develop knowledge about freight practices
- Work well with the technical support and sales teams to complete orders on time
- Complete LEAN training and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of receiving and warehouse experience
- Strong computer skills required
- Ability to solve unique issues
- High attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Team player
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Hours for this Warehouse Associate position are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. The pay rate starts at $22/hour or more depending on experience. If you’re ready to join a company that believes that people come first, then apply today!
