Warehouse Associate Job at Leiden Cabinet Company
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock.
- Pack and ship orders.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Load, unload, and stage materials for production.
- Use hand tools to hand sand material, assemble shipping crates, trim pieces, or materials.
- General maintenance of warehouse facility.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and always maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Complete other assignments, as requested by management.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- GED, High School diploma preferred. Some technical college helpful.
- 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Drug free at all times.
