Compensation: $15-16.50/hr based on experience!

What You Will Bring to This Role We are currently seeking an experienced
Warehouse Associate to support our Warehouse team and Project Manager. A Warehouse Associate is a professional who is an integral part of our business that assists with the organization, storing and processing of orders and products. You will assist with overseeing receiving and processing of incoming stock, picking orders from the warehouse stock and managing them. This position reports directly to the Corporate Director of Engineering.
Some of Your Responsibilities Would Be:
- Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits and inventory.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Warehouse moves, organization
- Complete logs for inventory as assigned and report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Experience with and ability to operate a forklift
Qualities and Characteristics Preferred:
- Work experience as a Warehouse Associate or in Purchasing/Receiving
- Dependability, team player with a strong work ethic
- Familiarity with warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull heavy objects up to 100 lbs.
- Experience with and ability to operate a forklift
- Valid VA Driver’s License is preferred with clean driving record
- High school degree
