This is not an administrative position, although clerical tasks play an important role in organizing, managing, and keeping this position running. The Clerk role is an important part of the Operations delivery and inventory chains. The primary responsibility is to accurately pick requested inventory and medical device products, pack the items meticulously, and either ship the package to Zimmer Biomet customers and clients, or to give the package to the Delivery driver who will hand deliver it to our customers. Part Time Hours requested: 12 pm-9 pm shift Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. There is potential for day flexibility.

• Performs work functions to assist department management in accomplishing daily goals, including but not limited to, the picking of Finished Goods, packing of Finished Goods, maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Must maintain good housekeeping in all warehouse areas. Maintaining a clean, orderly (5S), and safe work environment, and meeting daily shipping requirements, by properly following department OP’s and company guidelines.
• Must be able to understand and perform the functions and procedures pertaining to the efficient operation of warehousing.
• Must be willing to learn our proprietary software program.
• Must be able to train and direct other personnel in their duties, both clerical and physical.
• Must be excellent at multi-tasking and working under pressure, and high stress at times to meet deadlines.
• Must be flexible with role and helping teammates when needed
• Willing to participate in our on-call weekends.
• This position is on their feet most of the day, and must be able to lift up to 50# packages.

• Understand principles of stock rotation, location and arrangement of materials for efficient handling.
• Must have an awareness of storage conditions necessary to protect material from damage or deterioration.

High school diploma, G.E.D. equivalent, or equivalent experience required.
