· Job Responsibilities:

· Ensure that the Warehouse is clean and organized at all times.

· Ensure that the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitor traffic

· Ensure that all forklift safety equipment is working, lights, horn, backup alarm and all safety guidelines.

· Ensure all warehouse personnel are trained and following safety procedures.

· Ensure that all incoming materials are inspected and meet CMP requirements.

· Monitor all deliveries ensuring that delivery times are met, Communicate any delays to the customer and upper management timely.

· Set up delivery schedule the day prior and schedule the drivers according.

· Ensure all manifests and shipping documents are accurate and complete prior the driver being dispatched.

· Before loading a trailer, inspect for dirt and debris, off odor, or any kind of damage. If trailer fails inspection, place trailer out of service and have non-conformance corrected prior to returning to service

· Confirm that the correct product is being loaded into the correct trailer

· Ensure product accuracy when loading, unloading, or transferring trailer loads

· Accurately complete certification sheets for each trailer loaded, including proper identification of completed rework

· Sweep all trailers prior to loading. Do not sweep dirt and debris outside. Collect in a dustpan and discard in the appropriate waste receptacle

· Continually work toward reducing/eliminating product damage and scrap

· Maintain Operation Excellence standards of housekeeping- sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment where necessary

· Ensure that all Tractors and Trailers meet DOT Standards at all times

· Update and maintain tracking of trailer board accurately

· Check DOT status on trailers that need to be fixed daily

· Develop an inventory method that maintains accuracy at all times

· Once a week provide the logbooks, driver hours and daily movements of drivers to corporate office

· Maintain accurate inventory of all products and all trailers, including hold trailers

· Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in a shipping or transportation management environment
• Minimum of 3 years warehousing and Logistics operation management.
• Thorough understanding of export processes and procedures
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Experience in dispatch operation and procedures.
• Ability to Lead and direct multiple operations ie: inventory control, DOT Compliance, Warehouse, Housekeeping, delivery scheduling, tracking incoming goods, FIFO.
• Knowledge of scheduling mechanical maintenance of Warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge Trailer repairs and scheduling
• Pass random drug screening
• Demonstrate good attendance- report to work as scheduled and on time
• Demonstrate ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Possess basic math skills
• Demonstrate understanding and practice of following GMP and OE standards
• Ability to lead by example while taking ownership of operation.

· Physical Demands:

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Requires frequent squatting, bending, stooping, sitting and stretching
• Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate work instructions and documentation
• Requires correctable vision to be within normal range
• Requires working within areas which are not air-conditioned
• May require working outside and being exposed to the elements (e.g. heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
