Warehouse Receiving Associate Job at Emerald Isle Foods LLC
The Receiver is responsible for the safe operation of the forklifts and ensuring that produce and dairy products being delivered are received from its suppliers and stored in the proper manner within the warehouse areas.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Organize workflow within the Receiving Department.
- Off loading trucks with merchandise receiving it and putting all product away in proper slot
- Rotate all products before placing them in the appropriate slot
- Provide proper warehouse and receiving documentation as needed.
- Handle product discrepancies / shortages / other problems.
- Maintain a clean and properly stocked warehouse
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years direct receiving and operating a forklift preferably in the produce industry
- Warehouse receiving and storage processes and procedures
- Knowledge of product types and the ability to make judgments on product quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, and have good organizational skills.
- Able to drive a stand-up forklift truck
- Able to lift and load cases on to warehouse shelves properly and safely
- Ability to read put-away reports and match with slot location and case product description
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
