The base hourly rate for this position is $27.67
Job Description
Pay
The 2023* pay rate is $28.98/hour.
Overtime is paid where applicable.
  • Wages are reviewed annually.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Transporting, delivering, and storing of unitized goods from the production line into the warehouse inventory while operating a clamp truck/ lift truck for extended periods of time in reverse. This task is performed per the machine pace of both production lines.
  • Follows job specific JSA's, uses safe work practices.
  • Wears personnel protective equipment as required.
  • Inspects mobile equipment and completes the appropriate checklist for pre-use and post-use reporting.
  • Fills propane or other fuel tanks. Trained to identify and handle hazardous materials that are known to be used in the performance of the job.
  • Must work from verbal, written and computer-generated instructions according to established operating procedures.
  • Plans out daily tasks while taking in to account the production schedule for storage needs. Determines product sequence and traffic patterns. Consolidates products to maximize storage and transportation efficiencies.
  • Maintains warehouse storage areas and equipment in neat and orderly condition using proper storage and handling expectations.

  • May be required to operate other types of mobile equipment to perform essential function of the job. Observes for malfunctioning mobile equipment and for unusual operating conditions.
  • Performs other essential functions as directed.
Requirements
  • Mobile equipment experience required (minimum 3 years).
  • Forklift certification desired.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A high school level of language and reasoning skills.
  • A commitment to support safe work practices in the work environment.
  • The ability to read and understand items written and spoken in English.
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • The ability to lift as much as 50 lbs safely and with proper body mechanics.
  • The ability to work in a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
  • The ability to work in a dusty and sometimes stressful work environment.
