We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor or Manager to join our small but growing team in Tukwila, WA.

About the Opportunity:

GiddyUp’s Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and coordinate our daily warehousing activities. The person in this role will be responsible for maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. In addition, this person will oversee the warehouse fulfillment production operation as well as supervising staff, along with implementing production, productivity, safety and quality standards.

Ultimately, the person in this role will be responsible for ensuring that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations in an effort to increase the company’s overall market share in this capacity.

Essential functions:

  • Meets warehouse operational and safety standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, safety and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
  • Meets warehouse financial standards and profitability by providing annual budget information; productivity reporting, monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Relocates inventory by scheduling of materials to be transported to and from the warehouse; coordinating inventory and supply activity with respective Brands, 3rd parties and internal department team members
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload, communicate job expectations and coach employees.
  • Ensure production staff is properly trained on specific packaging requirements for all Brand’s products.
  • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
  • Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data; ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Ensure the warehouse is secure at all times, verifying bldg alarms and video monitoring systems are active.
  • Keeps equipment operating by enforcing proper operating procedures; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; arrange for repairs as needed
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications and applicable webinars.
  • Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy; conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences, replenishes stock and inventory as needed
  • Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
  • Enforces safe operating instructions and policies throughout the facility
  • Able to work extended hours, beyond our standard 9am - 5pm operating hours, during peak season

Supervisory responsibilities:

  • 4-7 Warehouse Associates, hours vary based on season
  • Temporary (seasonal) contract workers, as needed

Work environment:

  • GiddyUp strives to provide a flexible, fun working environment. This position will work from our Tukwila, WA warehouse.

Required education and experience:

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
  • 3+ years of experience supervising and warehouse and warehouse associates
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
  • Experience inputting , retrieving and analyzing data
  • Experience directing and coordinating warehouse operations

Preferred education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
