We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Worker in West Sacramento, CA who has experience in:

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks (package), forklifts, or other equipment.
• Stack cargo in locations such as transit sheds or delivery vehicles as directed, using pallets or cargo boards.
• Ensure product is safely stocked and stored in correct locations. Optimize space utilization. Detect and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervisor. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain stock and work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
• Sort cargo before loading and unloading. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship). Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label and store).
• Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily work tickets. Verify receipts against purchase orders. Advise the purchasing department of shortages and overages.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Skills

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred
• Previous forklift experience and certification preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision, yet team-oriented with a cooperative and collaborative approach to customers, co-workers, vendors
• Good problem-solving capabilities
• Valid California Drivers’ License required
