The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a skilled warehouse worker to our TRIO Community Meals team in Huntington Park, CA. As a warehouse worker, you will have the opportunity to support foodservice distribution efforts for meals across the country.

What you'll be doing:

• Receiving, lifting, moving, storing, issuing, counting, sorting, weighing and verifying items on requisitions or invoices.
• Filling orders, issuing supplies from stock, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness, including sweeping and mopping of storage areas.
• Conducting monthly inventory of warehouse.
• Moving or transporting materials or supplies to other departments using hand or industrial trucks.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to use safe operating procedures and judgement.
• Self-starter and possess a high level of motivation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout entire work day.
• Ability to lift, stack, and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Experience picking, loading, labeling, and working within a food distribution environment.
