Water Restoration Technician Job at Servpro Industries, Inc

Our "ideal" candidate:
- Must be willing to work outside of “regular” business hours when necessary, including responding to emergency and non-emergency restoration calls
- IICRC certified (Not required)
- Minimum of five years’ experience working in a water mitigation department
- Thorough working knowledge of water mitigation and dry-down processes
- Someone who is detail oriented, extremely organized and takes pride in their work
- Can work and communicate effectively with a team of restoration technicians.
- Can work independently on the job as required.
- Clean driving record, reliable transportation, pass drug screening, and background check.
- Ability to be part of an on-call emergency rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sets up and monitors equipment, takes pictures and documents progress of loss.
- Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, able to take moisture readings, logs, and records file integrity and communicates details of all projects.
- Oversees Equipment Maintenance (to include maintaining MSDS sheets).
- Performs demolition of loss, if necessary.
- Carpentry skills are a plus.
- Able to climb a ladder.
- Able to lift at least 75 pounds.
- Able to work in confined spaces.
- Respects and maintains the confidentiality of company, client, and personnel information.
- Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Prepares trucks and equipment for emergencies.
- Ensures that all assigned personnel are thoroughly trained in their duties and responsibilities, including safety precautions.
- Enjoys being on the move and never having the same day twice
- Continue to improve technical knowledge and personal performance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
