Sayres is seeking an experienced Waterfront Production Analyst (FFG Production Analyst) with a current SECRET clearance in Marinette, WI. These duties will include the following: Analyze shipyard production practices, track design changes, assist in tracking lead ship production issues and facilitating application to follow ships in a timely manner.

Play a role in the successful construction of the Navy's newest Frigate by reviewing engineering products and monitoring every phase of the production efforts at the Shipbuilder's Facility in Marinette, Wisconsin.

You will be part of a large contingent of Navy and contractor personnel on-site to support the ship construction effort. You will be exposed to every aspect of shipbuilding and share in the wealth of knowledge.

As a mid-level Production Analyst, you will be collecting a variety of data and preparing presentable information for higher levels of management up to and including the Navy's Program Manager. Data includes:

  • Comparing emergent changes on the Lead ship to build specifications of follow ships.
  • Tracking and collating data from multiple ships under construction.
  • Ensuring timely incorporation of design changes into follow ships build.
  • Track deficiency resolution
  • Maintain data relating to deferred new construction related work (PSA, K-Alts, etc.)

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute by helping to ensure that delays and holdups are minimized between multiple ship builds
  • Assist with the customer's maintenance of new construction records and data keeping
  • Help Subject Matter Experts (SME) in a variety of fields with data tracking and progressing work.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer's on-site team and comparable analyst from the Navy
  • Identify bottlenecks and other holdups in getting drawing changes and redlined drawings quickly incorporated into other sister ship's currently under construction drawing packages.
  • Collect data from SMEs and other customer personnel relating to updates to the combine risk and opportunity register.
  • Monitor ships under construction to maintain a working knowledge of events in progress.

The applicant should have:

  • A working knowledge of shipyards and shipbuilding
  • Experience collecting data and presentations for higher level review.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to use multiple programs on a computer, access information and conduct product searches.

To be successful in this roll, you will have:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with a variety of software applications on a PC.
  • Mid-level and above experience in using Microsoft Suite Tools
  • Experience working with military programs (preferred)
  • Former journeymen in at least one shipyard trade (preferred)
  • Experienced trade journeymen
  • 5-10 experiences as a production or military analyst
  • Experience in data keeping during a major ship construction program Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Desire to learn and excel.
