POSITION: Women's Health or Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Sexual and Reproductive Health clinics

HOURS: Part-time and per diem positions available (Monday-Friday including evenings)

PROGRAM: Sexual & Reproductive Health Services

LOCATION: We have multiple locations including Brockton, Hyannis, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, New Bedford, Plymouth, and Wareham. Travel to one or more locations

SALARY: $61.80-$65.80/hour

DUTIES: Under the supervision of Sexual and Reproductive Health Services Medical Director, and guided by evidence-based protocols and federal and state contract requirements, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide sexual and reproductive health services including a full range of contraceptive methods and diagnosis and treatment for STI’s and common infections, infectious disease related care, and office-based addiction treatment (suboxone) including:

• Assess medical histories
• Perform physical examinations with special emphasis on sexual and reproductive systems
• Perform lab procedures, diagnostic testing, and follow up for abnormal lab results
• Provide cancer screening services
• Prescribe a full range of birth control methods
• Provide IUD and Implant insertions and removals
• Provide STI testing, diagnosis and treatment
• Provide HIV PrEP and nPEP services
• Prescribe office-based addiction treatment (suboxone)
• Provide medication abortion services
• Perform ultrasound for gestational dating
• Provide gender affirming hormone therapy

REQUIREMENTS: At least two years providing reproductive and sexual health services. Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. Passion for sexual and reproductive health. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and patients. Excellent interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Women’s Health or Family NP. X-waivered. At least three years providing reproductive and sexual health services. Licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. Passion for sexual and reproductive health. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and patients. Excellent interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License to practice in expanded role (APN). Credentialed with Massachusetts Health Insurers. Current registration with Massachusetts Controlled Substance and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency. Women’s health or primary care provider with experience in sexual and reproductive health.
