Reporting to the Director of Finance Systems and Accounting Operations, the Finance Systems Analyst will support daily Finance systems activities and Finance systems projects. This includes coordinating and implementing the design and development of the organization's global ecosystem of Finance applications.
The position will initially assist with supporting the company’s Finance and Accounting application (Workday Financials) and Travel and Expense application with additional application responsibilities expected over time.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and resolve day to day incident, defect, and enhancement requests from the business and users
- Analyze and evaluate current business and systems processes and procedures and recommend improvements.
- Stay up to date on Workday release updates.
- Work directly with end-users to establish requirements for new or improved systems.
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, HRIT and Technical Operations teams where applicable to create a cross functional road map related to new feature or system changes or additions.
- Ensure regular updates provided to all parties.
- Create custom Payroll Workday Reports to simplify process reviews.
The Finance Systems Analyst position is also responsible for collaborating with Finance Business Process Owners to prioritize defect resolution and enhancement requests, gather business requirements, and deliver solutions that align with business needs and objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years business systems analyst experience
- In-depth experience with one or more Workday financial modules, Core Financials, Expenses, Accounts Payable, or Fixed Assets
- Workday business process design and report configuration
- Deep understanding of Workday security
- Hands on experience creating EIBs and customizing EIB templates
- Positive customer service attitude and ability to interact and communicate with all levels
- Strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and organize time to meet projected target dates for project completion.
- Prioritize and resolve day to day incident, defect, and enhancement requests from the business
- Maintain documentation around the processes in Finance systems for reference and training purposes
- Experience with postproduction support required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Software implementation and upgrade experience preferred
- Exposure to Adaptive Insights
