.Write, edit and create copy and content to support the college’s marketing plan.
.Writes College press releases under the guidance of the Director of Communications.
- Develops content for social media platforms.
- Creates content for College print materials, digital communications and website.
- Works with staff, faculty and administrators to develop content for marketing.
- Supports the efforts of the marketing and communication team.
- Proofreads and edits material.
- Assists in creating speeches and correspondences.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Communications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related major.
- 1-3 years work experience at an ad agency, public relations firm, or related field, experience in
- Collaborative team player, with the ability to work well with staff, faculty and administrators.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong communications and research skills.
- Fluent in current social media marketing, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and
- Fluent in Microsoft Office.
- Strong proofreading skills.
