Yard Truck Driver (Class A CDL) Job at Ice Industries Inc.
General Function: The scrap truck driver responsible for staging trailers as needed for the product, moving trailers, and product from plant to warehouse near the plant. Staging and weighing scrap trailers for removal.

- Operate company trucks safely and efficiently, compliant with D.O.T. standards
- Empty scrap in trailers, weigh & stage for pickups
- Stage trailers for product and move as needed
- Load and unload trucks (weigh, count, and pack parts)
- Complete all inspections and paperwork as required by Company & D.O.T.
- Responsible for cleanliness of truck, some minor upkeep of the truck
- Fill-in within the department as needed – band blanks, loading & unloading of trucks, help in maintaining accurate inventory counts and proper locations of parts.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Other Requirements:
- Must pass D.O.T. physical
- Participate in drug test consortium as required by D.O.T.
- Possess a valid tow motor operator’s license issued by the company
- Must be available to work overtime, including weekends as required
Working Conditions: Environment includes the plant, office area, dock, truck, and trailers, outside of plant and warehouse (separate location). Standing, walking, sitting, and driving a semi-truck and tow motor throughout the working day, capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and some stooping up to 40 lbs.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have CDL Class A license with at least 2 years of experience
- Familiar with current D.O.T. regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
