Description:
Yardi/IT Specialist is responsible in understanding the needs from business leaders and clients. Work with multiple departments and locations to meet internal and external client requests. Ensure the various systems maintained properly and securely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for various Yardi modules and related systems
- Work closely with accounting and operation team to identify the system issues and provide solutions
- Add new users or terminating users in Yardi Voyager and RentCafe
- Update user permission/security
- Assist property data imports during the property onboarding process
- Fix post month errors at the beginning of each month
- Resolve tickets focused on PO/IR errors and Rent Café errors
- Configure screening and other interfaces
- Perform security audit once a month in both Voyager and RentCafe
- Perform Yardi testing as needed
- Document technical procedures for training purpose
- Work closely with accounting and operation team to identify the system issues and provide solutions
- Other projects
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree
- 0-3 years of property management working experience
- 0-3 years of experience working with Yardi software
- Customer service attitude
- Proficiency in the use of 10-key calculator, personal computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
- Ability to analyze financial statements
- Strong written and oral communication skills in a business environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines.
- Well-developed organizational skills. Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented background and mentality
- Ability to operate office machinery; including but not limited to: telephone, computer, adding machine, copy machine, fax machine, scanner, printer, etc.
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds on an occasional basis.
