Job Title: ABA Behavior Therapist

The ABA Behavior Therapist provides home-based services to children with Autism and related disabilities. Under the direction of the Autism Consultant the ABA Behavior therapist will work with children to improve adaptive behaviors in developmental areas such as language, cognition, socialization, play, self-help, and motor skills. Some of the areas we currently work with include Bristol, Concord, Epsom, Laconia, and Rochester.

• Pay range $38,000.00-$41,000.00 per year · *WEEKLY PAY IS GUARANTEED REGARDLESS OF SESSION CANCELLATIONS*
• Training for employees to obtain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or supervision for RBT’s and those working on obtaining their BCBA credentials

Responsibilities:

• Working 1:1 in home settings
• Assist children in the development of daily living skills
• Collect data on daily living, communication, social, and behavioral programming and maintain accurate data and professional session notes
• Utilize principals of applied behavior analysis (ABA) in all interactions
• Communicate confidently and professionally with children, parents, and supervisors
• Provide training to child’s parents/caregivers in how to effectively implement teaching protocols and behavior support plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Education, Psychology, or related field preferred
• Prefer Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or behavior specialist experience
• An understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) teaching methodologies
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Experience teaching daily living skills
