Location: Rolling Meadows
Work hour: 8:30am-5:30 pm ( Lunch 1 hour )
Travel: 15%

Global manufacturer of lubricating grease is seeking an Account Manager for North & South America operations.The business sector targets the automotive industry, robotic, electrical apparatus, bearings, and other mechanical manufacturers.

Responsibilitie:
  • To retain and build a network with the customers which are large global companies and distributors while being consistent with the global strategies from headquarters in Japan
  • Understand sophisticated business strategies and effectively manage multiple projects to resolution
  • Understanding product knowledge to provide technical assistance and logically present/sell to client engineers
  • Capability to explain the logic of product pricing to client purchasing section with the proper calculation based on different cost factors and currency
  • Working with inside Sales, Accounting department and expats from headquarters
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience or equivalent in the sales of lubricating grease, chemical products or with industries in the business sector noted above
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Should have experience in the selling of value added products
  • Ability to manage and organize multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a time efficient manner
  • Ability to develop own logical ideas and consult with internal/external team before implementation
  • Must be a fast learner in the education of grease products and applications
  • Must be patient in the process of launching new projects in this industry with customers and be persistent in this process
  • Present a professional image in representing the company
