What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Product or Services Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.

Job Summary

A CIM Account Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining on-going CIM customer relationships with an assigned set of customers. Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to inventory performance and guidance on best practice use of the CIM platform, and service requests.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer relationship for Retail Independent and Outpatient Acute accounts utilizing the CIM Solution (approximately 150-200 accounts)
  • Provide proactive, consultative support to customers to ensure they see maximum value of the CIM Solution and are performing the CIM best practices.
  • Continuously analyze reports and customer metrics to identify additional opportunities for savings and optimization that are actionable.
  • Assist or lead customers through appropriate change management processes identified for the optimization of managing inventory.
  • Develop, coordinate and deliver actionable business reviews for key customers (at least quarterly).
  • Identify and drive incremental SOURCE opportunities in current accounts.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and collaborate with sales teams to drive them to close.
  • Provide reeducation training for established CIM customers as new pharmacy staff members are hired.
  • Collaborate with IT and other SME’s to identify and prioritize CIM solution enhancements.
  • Uses data and storytelling skills to reinforce the value of CIM to current customers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Microsoft SQL proficiency preferred

  • Identifies implications/conclusions from the logical analysis of a routine situation or issue.

Operational Excellence

  • Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions and services; manages monetary assets and other resources to optimize cost effectiveness.
  • Performs duties efficiently, considering resource utilization
  • Identifies and recommends improvements related to own workflow
  • Demonstrates attention to detail when compiling and reporting information; reviews work to ensure that information complies with quality standards

Anticipated salary range: $75,200- $107,400
