Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Skyline is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accountant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: (1) Assisting with the month end close procedures (2) Preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (3) Preparing, reviewing, and submitting financial reporting to our plants, sales offices, and corporate office (4) Maintaining and continuously improving the internal control structure. (5) Assisting in Hyperion (HFM) consolidation, reporting, report building, and maintaining correct GL Mapping. (6) Processing invoices and assisting the tax department as needed. (7) Successful candidates will use their excellent in-person, verbal, and written communication skills to develop relationships across Skyline Steel, Nucor, and the industry. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Accounting or other financially related field
- Microsoft Office experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s in Accounting or CPA
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
