The Nurse Director Surgical Services will provide leadership for the Operating Room, PACU, SDS, Inpatient GI and all staff within those departments. The Nurse Director Surgical Services will be responsible for both clinical and administrative functions as well as:
- Serving as a clinical resource and mentor, demonstrates clinical proficiency of nursing care principles
- Ensures that the Surgical Service department is in compliance with standards of practice, rules and regulations
- Ensures that the Surgical Service Department have the necessary staff and resources
