We are looking for an experienced Admissions Assistant who can assist in admissions and bring a positive and hard-working culture. The main function of an Admissions Assistant is to perform administrative duties in preparation for incoming patients that are being admitted to the facility. San Miguel Villa sees roughly 50+ admissions per month so this job will be proactive and will primarily focus on the clerical duties behind this process (running insurance verification, uploading hospital-provided medical records into the medical chart, and emailing out admission notifications to key personnel).
This job works closely with some of our most enthusiastic and energetic individuals in the building and a large part of the job will be to coordinate internal culture. The Admissions Department represents the building and gives the first impression so we need someone organized, good at prioritization, and professional.
**This preferred schedule for this position is Sunday through Thursday 11am-7pm but we can provide flexibility
Experience:
At this time, we are only looking for candidates with Skilled Nursing experience. Even with experience, however, offer a very extensive training program for all employees that will enable our staff to feel confident with their care and meet the standards of the facility.
