Applications & Sales Support Engineer (Full-time) Job at Diversity Talent Scouts
Duties and responsibilities
- Be the technical resource for the company supporting Regional Sales Managers, Customer Service, Shop Assembly & Quality Control
- Support sales efforts by identifying application requirements, needs, and value propositions, from both sales and the customer, then developing the appropriate hydraulic valve and/or controls solution to satisfy the application. Solutions can include catalog products, specialty valves, OEM specific product, manifold assemblies, component kits, systems, and electronic controls packages
- Provide to Sales any quotations, sales presentations, product demonstrations, Project Drawings (hydraulic circuit drawings, 3D models, and 2D drawings, bill of materials, circuit designs, data sheets, Specifications, etc.) simulations, calculations, reports, specifications, or any other technical related documentation needed to capture custom solutions business.
- Provide engineering support and any required documentation to facilitate the proper building, assembly, testing, and QA inspections of any application solution or assembled product.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics preferred)
- 3+ years of experience working in a hydraulics solution design or fluid power applications engineer role
- Must have a valid United States automobile driver’s license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
