This position will work inside a 1,000,000 sq ft medical facility where Coastal Security provides safety and security. The Security Guard will be responsible for the following:

- Screening personnel (including patients, visitors, guests, staff, etc.), bags and other items upon entry into the facility
- Assisting on calls for services ranging from (lockdowns, disturbances, escorts and combative suspects)
- De-escalate situations as needed using the minimal amount of force necessary.
- Patrolling the facility as needed to deter criminal activity and ensuring the safety of all staff, visitors and patients.
- Documenting incidents on company reporting software using smartphones/devices
- Participating in mandatory training and education as necessary and assigned by state requirements, company requirements and client requirements.

This position will work a schedule rotating between 12 and 6 hour shifts. (42 hours per week, with a 4 day weekend every other weekend). An ideal candidate for this position will have prior law enforcement, military or security experience. This position will be required to walk, restrain people as necessary, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, and other requirements as necessary.
