Responsibilities:

· Drive overall category performance through detailed reporting and analysis of product offerings, pricing, supply chain costs and supplier performance.

· Compile the pricing spreadsheets for all of our international suppliers and provide supporting analysis to identify potential issues or opportunities for improvement.

· Update market costs in computer system and report trends.

· Run forecasting reports to ensure that we are contracting the right quantities with our vendors for orders ranging from large scale contracts to back to back orders.

· Identify new product opportunities for our customer base along with developing sourcing strategy.

· Follow-up all trade show leads and with trade commissions for future product sourcing opportunities.

· Qualify suppliers and develop new sourcing relationships.

· Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives within assigned product categories.

· Monitor overall market and competitive landscape to strategically optimize our category offerings and programs.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree.

· 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain focused role.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify, prioritize, and make independent decisions.

· Willingness and ability to take on increased challenges and responsibilities.

· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

· Computer literate in MS office suite, especially MS Excel. Other computer knowledge (especially Microsoft Navision/Dynamics) a big plus.

Compensation: Competitive compensation package with bonus, Medical and 401K benefits offered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
Employees work remotely primarily and are only required to work in the office on Wednesdays. Eventually, we will require employees to work from the office more often, but envision a hybrid work schedule remaining for the long-term.
