OVERVIEW:
CR’s New Products and Services division defines and discovers new ways to be relevant to consumers as a social enterprise, evaluate alternative business models, and nurture promising capabilities that could be scaled into bigger opportunities. This role will primarily support the New Ventures team within New Products and Services. The CR New Ventures team creates and iterates on products that solve thorny consumer problems and bring profitable new revenue streams.

The Associate Director, Business Development and Partnerships, reports into the head of the New Products & Services division. You will identify, engage and secure strategic partnerships that allow CR to take new products to market more and enhance our growing product portfolio. We are looking for a strategic and practical leader/professional who wants to help drive innovation in a legacy organization.

This is a hybrid position. Under our CRFlex program, this position is eligible for Fully Remote status for candidates who live more than 75 miles from one of our main office locations (Yonkers, NY, Washington DC, Colchester, CT). Additionally, the successful candidate must reside in one of the following locations: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Vermont, Washington D.C.

ABOUT YOU:
You’ll Be Highly Rated If:

  • You have proven experience in Business or Corporate Development.
    You have 5 or more years of experience in identifying, negotiating and building partnerships that result in measurable business value.
  • You are a creative thinker and thought partner. You enjoy conducting consumer research in different landscapes. You will be able to take part in our pipeline work and bring specific ideas on how external partnerships could help enable and/or accelerate the team’s work.
  • You excel in fast-paced environments with competing priorities. You have deep experience managing multiple projects. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail have led to proven success consistently meeting and even exceeding deadlines.
  • You have excellent communication and relationship building skills. You have a strong network and enthusiasm for building new relationships. You can effectively align people from disparate functions and different levels within an organization.
  • You enjoy collaboration. You thrive on teamwork and have proven to be a reliable, dependable teammate. You can provide numerous examples of where you have worked cross-functionally to produce high-quality deliverables.

The target salary range for this position is $130,000 to $175,000. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. Compensation for the successful candidate will be informed by the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience.
