ICON Park is a 20-acre, walkable entertainment destination in the heart of Orlando’s International Drive Resort Area and the Orlando Entertainment District. ICON Park has more than 50 amazing restaurants, bars, and attractions, including The Wheel, one of the world's tallest observation wheels that stands 400 feet tall. ICON Park has been widely recognized as being one of the best family destinations in Florida.

JOB PURPOSE: The fundamental purpose of this position is to provide guest service to guests and ensure their safety and satisfaction while maintaining standard operating procedures of all attractions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality to visiting guests while engaging in guest commonality.
• Safely load and unload guests in a friendly and timely manner on and off attractions.
• Act as an ambassador to our guests by greeting them, making them feel welcomed, and directing them to various locations of our property, if applicable.
• Maintain a safe environment for our guests while also responding to issues and questions.
• Communicating respectfully and friendly in all outlets including over the radio with coworkers, and guests.
• Tasked with opening, closing, and operating the park attractions while following the proper operating procedures.
• Operate attractions while demonstrating superior guest service and maintaining safety guidelines.
• Partnering with coworkers to maintain safety and efficiency with attraction operations and all matters relating to our guests.
• Provide exceptional customer service when resolving guest concerns while creating an extraordinary experience for the guests.
• Communicating attraction operation and attraction knowledge to guests.
• Communicating attraction safety and emergency protocols to guests.
• Direct guests through queue lines to ensure safety and crowd control.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of attractions and ensure all safety precautions are followed if needed.

MARGINAL DUTIES

• Knowledge of attractions and standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of ICON Park property, and locations of venues.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with various team members, and guests.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and work independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to manage in a manner conductive to high productivity.
• Ability to work in an environment with many interruptions.
• Ability to multitask.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Some stooping, lifting and bending.
