Wayfair is looking for a Catalog Merchandising Senior Associate for our B2B platform to help build our product and assortment expertise. Wayfair Professional’s (B2B) mission is to help businesses make good spaces great. We leverage Wayfair’s platform to serve professional customers in many industries, including Interior Design, Commercial Office, Contractor, Property Management, Accommodations, Foodservice and Education, working cross functionally with other stakeholder teams to improve the customer experience in each B2B industry.

As part of this team you’ll be responsible for helping to develop an in-depth understanding of the product’s characteristics, using a combination of product-focused competitive research and supplier interactions. You will help balance getting our customers the right information to confidently purchase, progressing Wayfair’s business objectives, and making it easy for suppliers to add and maintain products. You will be a critical cross-functional partner to multiple teams, working together to develop and implement scalable improvements to how we define and capture product content in the Wayfair B2B organization.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the department expert on merchandising products
  • Drive product-focused competitive research to discover new ways to improve product content within your product categories.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders that rely on product content to drive cross functional initiatives.
  • Challenge the status quo and always be on the lookout for ways to streamline and improve the efficiency of existing processes while effectively managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Track impact of enhancements, report out effectively and make decisions based on learning and data.
  • Interact with suppliers & customer facing support teams to deepen product expertise and garner insights on the latest trends in your product category.
  • Develop ways to structure data we collect from our suppliers about our products.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities to improve the coverage of product content across your product categories.
  • Work with your manager to outline roadmaps and OKRs across 2 commercial aisles

What You'll Need

  • 1+ years of relevant work, internship or school experience
  • Proactive and eager to constantly seek out opportunities to make an impact
  • Analytical and process-oriented, comfortable learning new data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize projects and multitask to get things done
  • Highly detail oriented; unafraid of complexity
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfortable navigating structured and unstructured data
