Job Summary:
Administers Langley’s benefits programs, payroll processes and Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Configures new modules and reconfigures existing modules in the HRIS to assist the organization in accomplishing operational efficiency and excellence. Processes scheduled and unscheduled payroll and assists employees with routine and non-routine payroll and benefit questions.


Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Processes biweekly payroll while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Responds to routine and non-routine inquiries from employees and managers regarding payroll, benefits, and the HRIS.
  • Serves as project lead in implementation of new HRIS modules.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for benefit vendors including administration of the Langley 401k Plan.
  • Coordinates and facilitates annual open enrollment process.
  • Conducts benefit audits on a monthly or annual basis as needed and as required.
  • Reconciles monthly benefit invoices.
  • Creates scheduled and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Creates, maintains, edits, and issues performance management templates within the UKG system under guidance from the Human Resources Manager.
  • Participates in Mind, Body, and Financial Wellness planning.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Business or another related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • One year of experience processing exempt and non-exempt payroll required.
  • One year of experience supporting or working in a Human Resources department required.
  • Two or more years of experience with UKG required. Intermediate experience with at least 3 of the following required: Business Intelligence, Payroll Gateway, Performance Management, Time Management, Onboarding, Recruiting, Open Enrollment.
  • Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills required.
  • Experience with SQL queries preferred.
