- Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled preventative maintenance for equipment during machine service
- Read and understand equipment manuals, and other tools to research and fix equipment
- Be able to read all work orders and write detailed notes as to the fixes made to equipment returning to consumers, and clients
- May use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and computer equipment in performing duties
- 2+ years or equivalent work experience, mechanical aptitude
- Prior biomedical technical schooling, or experience on any level
- Documentation and recordkeeping skills
- Good technical skills
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and calibration of medical equipment
