Boat Dock Manager Lake Whetstone Job at MontgomeryVillage Foundation

Oversees the Lake Whetstone boat rental program during hours of operation. Rent boats to visitors, collects fees, maintain the dock area and surrounding grounds including picnic tables, volleyball court, trashcans and parking area. Provide customer service to park patrons, explaining and enforcement of park rules. Assist with the opening and closing of the boat dock each business day, monitor maintenance of boats and complete operating reports as requested. Responsible for delegating duties to Assistant Dock Manger during business hours.
Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions. The typical hours of work are 10:45 am to 7:15 pm on Saturdays on a rotating schedule. This seasonal opportunity runs from May 27 through September 2.
Requirements:
- Min. age 18
- CPR & First Aid certified or have the ability to obtain one prior to employment
- Maryland Boating Safety Certification or have the ability to obtain one prior to employment
Salary starting at $16.50 per hour
