Bookkeeper (Part-Time) Job at Countryside Industries Inc.
Responsibilities:
- Assign company expenses to proper categories in Quickbooks.
- Update assets in QB – trucks and vehicles, technology, other, as needed.
- Calculate and pay sales taxes as required.
- Interface with accountant as needed; make adjustments/journal entries as directed; Bill-paying
- Book all journal entries including. Reconcile bank statements and credit cards. Processes payables.
- Input vendor and supplier charges
- Analyze bank charges as needed with management staff.
- Advise as needed on select issues, provide strategic insights based on company operations and history.
- Run P&L/financial reports and review with management staff quarterly/upon request.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
- Ability to work independently and be results-oriented.
- Strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and organizational skills required.
- Prior experience required with QuickBooks Online and familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop.
- Payroll (ADP) experience is a plus.
Job Overview:
- 10-20hrs per week.
- Year round position for a seasonal business so Spring and Fall are heaviest.
